Interest free loan plan for old and new musicians

Dawkes Music, located in Maidenhead, is involved with Take it Away, Arts Council England’s new scheme whereby people can apply for an interest free loan of up to £2,000 for the purchase of a musical instrument.

The project is being piloted in association with the Music Industries Association (MIA) with the aim of encouraging people of all ages to start playing an instrument. The scheme is also open to existing players wishing to upgrade or replace their instrument in order to continue learning.

Research by the MIA has found that there are over 15.5 million people in the UK who are interested in learning to play an instrument.

Whether you have a passion for jazz, rock, folk, global or event contemporary digital music, this scheme will enable your interest to grow!
