Tree Walk
Enjoy a walk among the trees and learn to tell your willow from your oak. For all the family.
August 9th and 23rd
Taylor Tug’s Holiday Happenings.
Interactive sessions for parents and children. For 18 months to five years.
August 10th
Damsels and Dragonflies.
Make your own dragonflies from pipe cleaners and parchment. For four to seven years in the morning; seven to eleven years in the afternoon.
August 16th
Carnival and Calyso
Make carnival masks and headdresses. For children aged four to seven years.
August 29th
Ducktails . . . Quack
Alongside the new Schwarzenback Rowing Gallery with its amazing “In the Cox’s Seat” interactive exhibit, there are lots of fun activities for children over the summer.
All the activities listed here need to be booked in advance and places are limited. See the Museum website, www.rrm.co.uk for more details, or call (01491) 415605. You can also pick up a What’s On guide at the museum, town library or visitor information centre in Henley.
Remember, entrance tickets for the museum are now valid for 12 months, so you can come back as many times as you want over the summer. There will also be boat trips running from the museum jetty between July 24th and August 25th.
