Monday 4th August - Survival Skills - Setting Up Camp
Join our rangers for an afternoon of survival skills. Learn how to start a fire without the help of matches, create a comfortable camp and come up with some fantastic ideas for camping accessories and furniture.
Times: 1pm or 2pm till 5.15pm
Prices: £15 for 2pm start or £20 for 1pm start (includes lunch box and supervised lunch time)

Wednesday 6th August - Trails and Treasure
Come along for an afternoon of hunting for treasure with a difference. Firstly we will teach you some basic navigation skills, then you will go out and hunt for treasure, having to complete tasks along the way. Finally there will be a chance to set your own trail.
Times: 1pm or 2pm till 5.15pm
Prices: £15 for 2pm start or £20 for 1pm start (includes lunch box and supervised lunch time)

Friday 8th August - Ready, Steady, Camp Cook
Another session with our very own survival ranger. Learn the art of camp cooking, whilst brushing up on your fire-lighting skills and constructing cooking gadgets. Then learn how to identify edible foods and make safety signals.
Times: 1pm or 2pm till 5.15pm
Prices: £15 for 2pm start or £20 for 1pm start (includes lunch box and supervised lunch time)

Monday 11th August - Puppet Shows
Fun and thought-provoking shows with an environmental theme, including Fred the Purple Monster and Mrs Pottytree's flying carpet. Sessions throughout the day.
Times: 10am to 4pm
Prices: £1 per child

Wednesday 13th August - Summer Olympics
An hour of races and competitions including egg and spoon races, an obstacle course and welly wanging. Collect points to win a prize.
Times: 11am to 12noon
Prices: £1 per child

Thursday 14th August - Pond Dipping
Fun and informative ranger-led pond dipping session lasting approximately one and a half hours. Only suitable for children aged five and over, all children must be accompanied by an adult.
Times: 11am and 2pm
Prices: £2 per child

Tuesday 19th August - Kite Making
The chance to make a kite and have a go at flying it.
Times: 11am- 12noon
Prices: £1 per child

Friday 22nd August - Pond Dipping
Fun and informative ranger-led pond dipping session lasting approximately one and a half hours. Only suitable for children aged five and over, all children must be accompanied by an adult.
Times: 11am and 2pm
Prices: £2 per child
