Kids days out in Bracknell & Wokingham

We started this website a few years ago as we have kids of our own and were looking for things to do. Time moves on, venues change hands, new fun venues for kids are created, others cease to be. We understand that many venues have very limited resources for marketing and are happy to provide this service FOC to those. If bigger names knock on our door looking for a freebie then we'll expect something in return.

Also dates may be a year or so old... if there is no active link, simply search for the venue using Google and that should point you to their main site and current activities. Thank you.

Wargrave & Shiplake Regatta Wargrave and Shiplake are two small villages either side of the Thames, in England, some three miles up river of the famous rowing town Henley. Each year they hold one of the largest regattas on the Thames with races for skiffs, punts and canoes. A list of all the events can be seen in our list of winners. more

REME Museum of Technology Summer Family Day For just £1, join in one one of our workshops, running throughout the day, and make your very own acetate sun catcher! All sorts of exciting designs to choose from. more

Dinton Pastures Country Park Trails and Treasure Come along for an afternoon of hunting for treasure with a difference. Firstly we will teach you some basic navigation skills, then you will go out and hunt for treasure, having to complete tasks along the way. Finally there will be a chance to set your own trail. more

The Black Swan Sailing Club Learn to Sail The Black Swan Sailing Club will be running sailing courses for all levels during the summer holidays. more

Cheeky Monkeys Tea Party Wokingham and District NCT is holding a NCT Cheeky Monkeys Tea Party at 2pm - 4pm on 26th July 2008 at Barkham Village Hall. It promises to be an entertaining afternoon with lots of activities for children including arts and crafts, colouring, drawing, mask making, music and singing from Monkey Music, games to play, party food including a Cheeky Monkey cake from Allthingsiced.com, a raffle and, of course, tea and biscuits. more
