Families Just Wanna Have Fun in Berkshire
Welcome to Kids in Berkshire. Our aim is to offer up fun stuff for family days out this summer 2008 in Berkshire. What we need are family fun day ideas provided by both local small businesses and those of you who know how to have a family fun day out on a shoe string!

Everyone one knows where the big venues are that are happily parting hard working families with the little spare cash they have for a modicum of fun.

What we want to hear about are those events and family fun days that are reasonably priced and offer a great family fun day out for all the family.

  • So if you run a business, then please let us know what you offer families looking for a fun day out and we’ll add you’re offering to the site and drive families your way.


  • If you are someone with a family who knows of a great venue or activity for a great family day out then please complete our form and so we can let others know about it.


    • Our site had 3000 visitors in July and there will be more in August... please help us to give great ideas to people visiting this site. The site has been around a long time so the search engines find it. We have always struggled with content as we are a small business actively engaged in helping businesses gain a higher profile on the Internet. Occasionally volunteers step forward and say they will help us manage it but they drop by the wayside as other things in their life take their attention and this leave the space empty, looking for content.

    BBC Children in Need night 2008
    How fantastic that in these trying times the nation is still feeling generous when it comes to those less fortunate than ourselves? Last night’s Children in Need raised over £20 million on the night. I believe last year’s total on the night was £19m, making this year’s even better!

    Ascot Firework Display
    On 1st November 2008, Ascot Round Table is organising a Charity Fireworks Display hosted at Ascot Racecourse. Firework admissions from 4:30pm and the fireworks display starts at 6.00 pm. All proceeds from the ticket sales support local charities. In addition to the fireworks there will also be a FREE Fun Fair with extra rides. Also food, drink and licensed bars available.
