NakedPan - Wok

The wok has excellent heat retention meaning ingredients are cooked evenly, thereby retaining the natural goodness and flavour.

Whether you wish to cook stir fries, fried rice or even deep fry tempura, the high sides of the wok ensure that all ingredients are kept within the pan.

It is suitable for all hob types and sits neatly on top of specialist Wok burners.

Merits
Cast iron is full of carbon. The surface of the pan forms a natural iron oxide film from reheating. This forms many microscopic holes on top of the pan, enabling the carbon to pass through.

NakedPan is:

Rust Free due to the oxide film covering.

Blends in oil. This is due to a structural change of the material that occurs when the oxide film is formed during reheating. The more the pan is used the better it becomes for cooking.

Powerful. As the cast iron is thick and a natural rust prevention coating has formed the pan conducts the heats. Ideal for baking in the oven, enabling food to roast and crisp.
