Ngaire Takano is an experienced Japanese business trainer and cultural advisor with over 23 years experience. She has resided in Japan and worked within businesses ran by family members in Japan and Multinational organisations in Germany, Belgium and the UK. Her wealth of knowledge stems from dealing with Japanese within personal and business situations. This has ranged from interpretation for VIP's during international sporting events, working with Japanese Chefs and undergoing training with sushi and Teppanyaki Chefs. Within Europe, Ngaire has worked as an International Export Business Trainer for a large Multinational Company, has trained couples in conflict resolution for mixed Japanese and European marriages, Chaired of a group of Japanese Business Groups and working with Japanese businesses across the UK, EU and also in Australia. Ngaire has also taught Japanese language to students in Australia and the UK and provides ongoing workshops and fun led activities for pupils who wish to learn more about Japanese culture (other than manga). In 2009, Ngaire provided Japanese cultural training for a British Team of students who were visiting Japan. The brief was to enable the students who were visiting to have advice and awareness of what to do and not to do. In addition, the training included introduction, basic phrases, using chopsticks, "quiet periods", negotiation and generally enabling the students to have as much information on how to behave at the same time enjoying themselves. The Teachers were also advised with additional training in how to deal with dignitaries and VIP's. With a wealth of knowledge on cultural issues - built upon from working with Japanese, having resided in Japan and working with Japanese Companies across the UK, EU, Japan and Australia Ngaire has experienced a diverse spread of both personal and business issues. |
