Maruyamaseicha
Maruyama Tea Products Corporation was first established in Kakegawa in 1933 by its founding President Tsujimatsu Maruyama.

Since then Maruyamaseicha have continued to devote time, essence and passion for producing high quality green tea.

The heart and technique of making green tea have been passed down through four generations of Maruyamas and are still maintaining the some "heart" and "skill" in order to make delicious green tea.

As a wholesale green tea dealer, Maruyama look for traditional and innovative green teas every day. They have contracts with three top class green tea farmers associations in the Kakegawa area where the most high quality tea is produced.

Over time Maruyama has been a strong working relationship with the green tea farmers on a personal level, but also have built a deep level of trust - so that they are able to produce a high quality tea.

Maruyama green tea is sold to retail stores all over Japan according to their area's preferences and their needs or requests.

Teas available are:
  • Konacha

  • Gyokuro

  • Houjicha

  • Sencha

  • Genmaicha

  • Kukicha

  • Powdered Tea (in shaker format)

  • Matcha - great for making Matcha Latte

  • Fukamushichicha which is a high quality tea which is steamed a little longer than sencha, but from the first pick. This tea has won Gold Awards since 2006 in the Monde Selection.

  • Teabags mixed with matcha and genmai tea

  • Origami Tea - Sumo-san and Ninja
