Following on from the highly acclaimed Speed Networking events, held in January and July 2006, both attracted our highest attendances at a Berkshire networking evening with extremely positive feedback, the IoD Berkshire branch is pleased to invite you to:
The Crowne Plaza Reading (www.cp-reading.co.uk) on the banks of the Thames, a tranquil venue, with extensive business and leisure facilities, Business Centre with meeting rooms and executive Board room. Their facilities are second to none.
Expect that tranquillity to be broken, by the frenetic pure energy of Speed Networking! At ordinary events, you can realistically hope to meet between 5–6 people. Here, we guarantee you will meet and talk to at least 25 new contacts on a 1-2-1 basis. It’s fast, it’s energetic, it’s amazingly effective!
John Bycroft, of Aorta Sales and member of the IoD Berkshire committee will explain the format and share valuable tips on how to speed network. Then it’s over to you. If you’ve done this before, you’ll know, if you haven't then come and see what you’re missing. In either case book your place to avoid disappointment and bring 50 or more business cards - you’ll need them!
