Now in its 5th successful year, join us for an exhilarating day of sailing on the Solent with Sunsail & their matched fleet of Sunfast 37 yachts. Challenge your customers, colleagues or just yourselves!
Berkshire IoD has made this event a huge success in the past four years and we are delighted to again extend the invitation to other IoD branches and their members to join us in this great day out. Bring your friends, clients and whoever you would like to share your day on the water.
Sunsail will provide the boats, each with a professional skipper, all the instruction needed prior to boarding along with waterproofs, etc. Don’t forget your camera!
The day starts at dawn. After bacon rolls, you will be briefed by the boat skippers prior to setting sail. We will spend the morning sailing out and drop anchor for lunch on board, off the Isle of Wight close to Cowes.
After a discussion of race rules and tactics we have a challenging afternoon ahead with the return leg in the form of a race. Boat against boat, just like the real thing! Don’t worry if you haven’t sailed before, teams will be mixed.
Price includes: sailing, use of waterproofs, all briefings and lunch onboard the boats.
