Technology just keeps leaping forward! Yesterday we bought a laptop and the price was the same as we paid 5 years ago except it has 10x the power of our previous machine!!
Key to the future of technology and the Internet is the ease at which it all “bolts together”, connecting seamlessly to other equipment and making the life of the user a breeze!
This week I was catching up with Sharon from Fab’n’Funky Gifts .com and asked her what was her latest fab gift. She’s got a bunch of stuff but the one that grabbed my attention was the camera and MP3 sunglasses. 2 minutes later the new toy was on order!
24 hours later it landed at my door and just needed charging up for a couple of hours before we were ready for action. The following morning and as booked, the sun was shining, ready for my walk with Max (the dog). I removed my new camera sunglasses from the box and pressed the button on the left to turn them on, with a beep we were ready for action.
Say hello to Max. He joined our family just over 4 years ago to help me keep a few pounds off and he’s done a jolly good job. The above picture taken with a press of the right hand button, all I had to do was move my right hand to the arm of the sunglasses and press the button for a few seconds. Very simple to use and notice how my left hand was free to feed Max. You couldn’t do that with a normal camera. Check out the world we wander into which is only 3 minutes walk from our home.
Windsor Great Park, owned by the Queen, stretches for miles in all directions and every day we take a walk out through the park to Swan Pond and then back home in time for breakfast, marvellous.
As we’re hitting the home stretch I began to wonder what clarity the images would be so figured, if I take pictures of one on the big old oaks as I walked towards it we’ll be able to see the variations in quality.
All the pictures are around 100k, 1280 x 1024 pixels. All have been reduced to 400 pixels wide and have gone through the same process or resizing for consistency.
Excellent, now I need some human subjects. Just as we get home this summer’s lottery winning duo investing some of their winnings! They got 5 numbers the other week!
Smile Bob...
Charles preparing for the pre season tournament is fascinated to find out more about these super spy glasses!
After his power lunch and washing his hands he takes his first picture of his loving mum.
Chloe, on the other hand is initially unimpressed, they’re like so uncool... then I showed her the pictures I took... different story!
