HotAV Patent Granted
The Patent Office has published the Grant of HotAV's patent for its unique Timer system (Patent GB2406640 25th January 2006), used for measuring the actual time projectors and other AV equipment are used.
This allows HotAV the ability to only charge its clients for the minutes and hours consumed rather than renting the equipment out for a full day.
This is particularly useful in the hospitality sector where invariably the equipment is charged on to their conference clients and provides better profit margins and much greater flexiblity.
They can also keep the equipment on site, so it is always available. HotAV have extended the service to now include PA Systems and Plasma Screens.
