HotAV Win Unique SODEXHO Prestige Venues Contract
Sodexho Prestige is one of the UK’s largest catering services companies, offering hospitality and conference facilities at a string of prestigious events including Royal Ascot and the Chelsea Flower Show as well as 25 fixed locations such as Blenheim Palace, Knebworth House, Newbury Racecourse, Cabinet War Rooms and HMS Belfast.
According to Anna Fenten, National Marketing Manager at Sodexho Prestige, “We had a close look at what clients wanted at their corporate events, which range in size from 10 to 500 delegates, and it was clear that they expected us to provide high tech equipment as part of the event package. We needed a supplier who could provide the same very high level of service at each of our sites from Aberdeen to Bristol.”
“About half our sites rent equipment from HotAV as and when clients require it but the other half have “Pay as you go” projectors permanently on site. We have negotiated a national pricing package and having the projectors constantly available is very convenient for us and our clients and enabling us to control costs very easily. We find “Pay as you go” a unique selling tool, which we can negotiate as part of our package and the clients get top of the range, up to date equipment that always works. Our clients love it.”

The centralisation of the deal has definite benefits for our company with the provision of staging, lighting and giant screens available for our larger events.”
Sara Blakemore is a major user of the “Pay as you go” concept at HMS Belfast, where they have 2 projectors on the scheme, “We have a large number of events at HMS Belfast and we have been delighted with the way the “Pay as you go” scheme works. We have found it much more economical than our previous arrangements and the telephone help we get from HotAV is great.
Whenever we need extra equipment it arrives very quickly and efficiently.”
