 HotAV is a young private company operating across the UK and Europe and built on over 20 years of knowledge and experience in the AV industry.
HotAV was founded on the basis of its unique ‘Pay AS You Go’ LCD Projector concept, the brainchild of Dave Savage, which is revolutionising daily hire of equipment to the meeting and conference industry.
Savage’s concept is a simple one. Rather than venues calling a local AV hire company every time they need the equipment. HotAV supply the equipment for them to keep on site permanently and they look after all the running costs and downsides.
Savage invented a unique timing system which is built into the projectors. The conference staff; just take one monthly meter reading and send it through to HotAV and receive just one monthly bill based on actual usage time.
HotAV has a world-wide patent pending on the technology and business method and now has a range of Pay-As-You-Go products. Due to its overwhelming success, HotAV now operates nationwide via a network of over 30 hire depots nationwide. A Call Centre manages all enquires and logistics and can provide daily hire of audio visual equipment as well as its ‘Pay As You Go’ solution.
Pay-as-you-go Projectors
We provide our ‘Pay As You Go’ Projectors to over 500 hotels, conference and business centres across the UK. We invented the concept and the technology. All Projectors have a discreet built in patented timing system, which records the monthly usage. We send one monthly invoice for the total projection time used in the previous month and cover all the downsides, so there is now no need to buy projectors which will go obsolete and are high maintenance or rent them by the day and pay for the logistics.
It’s a win, win solution.
Pay-as-you-go Plasma Screens
Pay As You Go’ Plasma Screens are ideal for smaller meeting rooms in hotels, conference and business centres all over the UK and Europe. The Plasma Screens come complete with a rugged mobile stand, shelf and integrated DVD player and Speakers and Laptop computers can be easily connected via a 3 metre VGA cable supplied. The Plasma Screens have a discreet built in patented timing system, which records the monthly usage.
We send one monthly invoice for the total display time used in the previous month and cover all the downsides, so there is now no need to buy Plasma Screens which will go obsolete and are high maintenance or rent them by the day and pay for the logistics.
Pay-as-you-go PA Systems
A simple all-in-one solution, which blows away the smoke and mirrors myth that PA systems are only for use by Audio Professionals. This product perfectly suits hotels, conference and business centres. The PA system is completely self contained come complete in a portable unit with a retractable handle. At only 15kg this deceptively powerful PA System can be used for audience sizes up to 250 people with its companion speaker indoors or out.
The 10” Speaker has a CD player and Radio Mike Receiver built into the speaker cabinet with ancillary inputs for 2 x wired Mikes and a second audio source. The PAYG PA System comes as standard, complete with a UHF Lapel Radio Mike and has a battery back up which will last 6 hours running music or 10 hours with speech. It can also be used straight from the Mains.
To qualify for any of the above solutions ideally you need to be a Business Hotel, conference venue, business or training centre. You will also need to be confident that you would normally have at least two uses of a projector per month on average, we are then set to make a considerable increase in your profits or large savings, depending on your business model.
