Robin Gibb LIVE in Windsor
CANCELLED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

Windsor Golden Egg Festival and Robin Gibb of the Bee Gees

The Windsor Golden Egg Festival due to take place on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th July, now brings Robin Gibb of the Bee Gees to Windsor Racecourse.

The Golden Egg Festival is the first outdoor weekend festival of its kind. “The idea was to create a unique opportunity for businesses in and around the area to come together and promote their products and services at street markets and events all over the town,” said event organisers Meera Desai and Kristin Gustavsen. “Now we are even more delighted to announce that Robin Gibb will be coming to play live at the racecourse on Sunday night! This is truly a proud moment for Windsor”.

The Festival begins on Saturday in the Windsor Town Centre with a variety of music, entertainment, retail marquees, and a children’s carnival. Entry is to all public areas is free of charges to members of the public. Businesses can rent marquees along Peascod Street and in Bachelor’s Acre on both days of the event. Major sponsors and premier site holders will have the prime positions around the town.

On Sunday, the festival in the centre of Windsor will come to a close at around 3 pm when the Windsor Racecourse will become alive for the lucky ticket holders. Live entertainment will begin and Robin Gibb will be making an exclusive performance at around 6pm and VIP badge holders will have exclusive use of The Pavillion after the show.

Robin Gibb, the acclaimed songwriter and member of the Bee Gees, has not performed live to this extent for many years. Robin has particular interest in the ‘Bomber Command’ where the event hopes to raise funds towards building a memorial in London in commemoration of the 55,000 heroes of the RAF Bomber Command who never returned after the Second World War.
