Golden Egg Festival - Windsor 2008
On the 12th & 13th of July this summer, the streets in Windsor & Eton will come alive with the launch of The Windsor Golden Egg Festival. This is the first outdoor event of its kind with a bustling Retail Market, a Children’s Carnival, and live music and entertainment all over the town and is a Golden opportunity for everyone to sample the very best the county has to offer.
Not just any market, but the Golden Retail Market is an opportunity for businesses to exhibit and promote their services in the heart of Windsor’s busy Town Centre. The Children’s Carnival will keep kids of all ages well entertained, while the live events will entice the mature visitors during the day and the evening.
The Alexander Divine Children’s Cancer Trust is the chosen charity and they are raising funds towards building the first ever hospice in Berkshire for children suffering with terminal illnesses.
Given the huge amount of interest and support, the weekend promises to be one of the most exciting Windsor has ever seen.
