Theresa May Supports Feed The Children

Today local MP Theresa May presented a cheque of £400 to ‘Feed the Children UK’ at the local Feed the Children Centre in Twyford. The contribution was accumulated through donations by members of the Maidenhead Conservative Association to Theresa in celebration of her special birthday.

Theresa explained, “I am extremely happy to donate £400 to the Feed the Children charity. Feed the Children UK concentrates aid to support children suffering the effects of poverty, especially those who have been orphaned or abandoned.

“They help children affected by Aids and HIV, support education in impoverished areas and offer vocational training for older children. Feed the Children UK also contribute and support those affected by natural disasters such as the Pakistan Earthquake and the Asian Tsunami. They carry out their good work in areas as diverse as Angola, Kenya, Liberia, Malawi and Uganda, as well as right here in the United Kingdom.

“It is vital that they continue to receive the support that their selfless and tireless work deserves”
