Ladies in business
Women make up 46% of the working population; of this 27% are self employed and 15% own their own business. However women still face particular challenges in business.
A series of inspirational and educational networking events are being organised to focus on and raise awareness of the challenges that face women in business.
Although primarily driven by the specific challenges that women face, these issues can in fact, affect anyone who is in business and so the events will be relevant to both men and women. In recognition that many women in business are also juggling domestic responsibilities the events will be organised at times which are more convenient to women. In keeping with the entrepreneurial nature of the events, venues will be chosen for their combination of style and accessibility and the menus will typically offer healthier food options.
