Franchise - Franchiser of the Year Awards

Pam Bader, the lady who successfully franchised Molly Maid Ltd in the UK has been named as a finalist in the British Franchiser of the Year awards.

Pam, from Maidenhead, started up a small cleaning business in Slough 22 years ago taking on a Molly Maid franchise opportunity. By working hard, her domestic cleaning business has flourished and she is now the UK Chief Executive.

With over 68 franchises around the UK, Molly Maid currently has an annual turnover of more than £12 million, making the company a huge success.

Pam was awarded an OBE in 1995 in recognition of her services to training, and also became the first woman to be elected chair of the British Franchise Association.

The awards which are being held on 22 May at London’s Sheraton Park Hotel will reveal Britain's best performing franchisers.

Pam hopes that the company will be chosen as Express Newspapers Brand Builder of the Year after attaining 7,000 new clients in 2007.
