Having been a nurse and then having had 2 children, I suffered from lower back pain for years but after just 1 session I walked away feeling inches taller and after regular treatments, my back pain has never returned again; the treatment is entirely pain free and there is no ‘bone crunching’.

I first came to see Diksha when a persistent niggling back ache suddenly became quite severe in a specific low back area. She was recommended to me by a friend who had suffered similar problems. Incredibly after only two of these quite relaxing treatments the pain had diminished considerably, and after four I was virtually pain free and able to resume more strenuous activities such as gardening and going to the gym. Perhaps more importantly, Diksha has stressed to me the importance of taking responsibility for improving the health of my own back, and she has shown me how improved posture and simple stretches can alleviate tension and help reduce pain. Through my own increased awareness of my spine's 'likes and dislikes', and regular sessions with Diksha, I now have few problems and very little pain. I have also found these treatments are very helpful with general relaxation, and afterwards feel a great sense of well-being.

By the time I went for treatment my back had seized up completely - I was unable to walk more than 4 -5 steps without severe pain – I was later told I had a prolapsed (slipped) disc.
I expected the treatment to be extremely painful, but it was not. Immediately after the treatment my whole back felt more relaxed and the nerves began sorting themselves out - this meant a couple of sudden jars of pain and my kneecap shook for a second or two! However, once at home, I could lie down comfortably without pain, which was a huge relief. Whilst checking my back, she also noticed that my kidneys were inflamed and although I had no symptoms, suggested I talk to my GP about getting it checked - which I did, once I was mobile again, and to my surprise was told I DID have a kidney infection as well.
I carefully followed her instructions and returned for several treatments. Each time my ability to move around became easier and less painful. One month later I returned to work, still being very careful. I have started walking up mountains again quite happily but have avoided squash and badminton as she suggested.
The importance of having a good practitioner is vital to healing. It is also important to understand why one's back becomes damaged so that you avoid doing it again - I would recommend Diksha’s treatment and approach to anyone who wants to know how their body is coping with everyday stresses and strains and learn how to maintain a relatively pain free existence.
