Did you know that one third of all traffic incidents involve someone who was driving for business? That’s what government estimates state. If you’re an employer with staff who drive as part of their working day – particularly those who drive for long hours or put in a lot of miles – you need to think about work related road safety legislation. This applies to staff driving cars, vans, lorries, motorbikes, scooters and even pushbikes. Commuting to and from the normal place of work is not covered by risk assessment requirements.

If you are: responsible for business premises, an employer, self-employed with business premises, a charity or voluntary organisation, a contractor with a degree of control over any premises, then you will need to act.
