Jon gives the background, (does this sound like you?)“Friday 29th February and I was busy working through the projects I wanted finished for the weekend. I knew I had forgotten something but couldn’t put my finger on it. Then it came to me. It was Mother’s Day on Sunday and I’d not sorted anything out. What about one of those mugs I’d seen on Sharon’s website? But was it too late? 5pm and I put in a call to Sharon at Fabnfunkygifts.com and she said leave it with me…”

“I received a call from a rather casual Jon at 5pm on Friday afternoon, who remembered it was Mother’s Day on Sunday and wanted 2 x dunk mugs to be sent out – for delivery on Saturday in time for Mother’s Day on Sunday if possible! We picked, packed, created a gift card and were at the main post office in Windsor at 5:20pm (Last guaranteed post leaves at 5.25pm!) After a rather manic 20 minutes we made it and so did the parcel to Jon’s mum in time for Mother’s Day.”

“I never know if Jonathan will remember to send a card on special occasions. He's always so busy so if he does it is a nice surprise as it’s usually something different that brings a smile. This year’s mugs are perfect. I have a sun house and my husband and I like to sit in the sun and read the paper. Now I don’t need a tray for the biscuits, I can just carry 2 mugs with the biscuits on board! Thanks Jon.”
