Hotel
The Donnington Grove hotel is a beautifully renovated 18th Century mansion renowned for it gothic architecture. It was designed by John Chute, the designer of Horace Walpole’s Strawberry Hill in Twickenham, and was built between 1763 and 1772. William Brummel, father of the famous Regency dandy Beau Brummel, purchased the estate in around 1785 and is responsible for the wonderful landscaping of the grounds.
The public rooms including the restaurants, bars and conference rooms are in the original part of the building.
The Hotel & Rooms The Hotel is located within a beautifully renovated 18th Century Gothic house where, after golf, you can wind down in a Japanese bath and take a sauna. more
Bar There are two bars at Donnington Grove – the Members Bar and the Lounge Bar. The Members Bar is where our golfers tend to congregate, while the Lounge Bar offers more relaxed and quiter surroundings. more
