DLP Planning’s Reading office has submitted representations to Bracknell Forest Borough Council in support of the allocation of 6 hectares of land on the edge of a settlement. The site is considered suitable for up to 200 dwellings as well as community uses, retail, employment and public open space. The results of the SHLAA will be put out to public consultation in February-March 2008, when further representations will be made. Preferred Options will be consulted on in October-November 2008. Final public consultation will take place in May-June 2009. An Examination will be held in early 2010. The plan is likely to be adopted in autumn 2010. This exercise follows on from the adoption of the Council’s Core Strategy – the first one to be declared “Sound” in the Thames Valley.
