DLP Planning Ltd has recently won an appeal for the erection of a 10-bed care home extension in Bexhill-on-Sea. Rother District Council refused the application due to its impact upon residential amenity and the character of the area. The Inspector dismissed the submissions of the Council finding that the proposal made adequate allowance for the amenity of adjoining residents and was designed to be in keeping with the character of the local area.
