Christina Bachini on BBC Radio Berkshire
Christina Bachini of Divorce with Dignity will be interviewed on BBC Radio Berkshire on Thursday 8th November 2007 at 1.00 p.m. by Nicky Whiteman. She will be talking about her journey to starting up Divorce With Dignity and her reasons for starting such a service.
Christina has an established business working as a Leadership Development Specialist. Throughout 25 years of working with executives, relationships were often the focus of her work.
When people have skills, abilities and desire to build strong trusting relationships their productivity and desire to succeed increases. They can take risks, influence more confidently and negotiate with ease, thus developing their potential.
Learning to deal with hierarchical and un-equal relationships is key to business success. Having skills to deal with conflict and differences of opinions, takes personal awareness and internal confidence, if a mutually agreed resolution is to be found.
In recent years the issue of relationship and marriage break-up became more central. When a personal issue impacts on work life, then a career path can seem filled with distractions and obstacles to be dealt with.
It became clear that an ever increasing number of people were going through messy and forced break-ups. They needed help clarifying and dealing with these personal issues before working on the career issue, otherwise my work would be sabotaged.
There are a large number of people dealing with relationship separation, most of us will be touched in some way by separation and divorce and with a back ground in counselling, facilitation and coaching, I set up “Divorce with Dignity” to provide objective coaching support to help people anywhere on the separation cycle to:
