TNT set to Yell explosively
Yell's Reading based offices will now be serviced by local firm TNT Express Services in a six-figure deal, reports Get Reading.
The two firms have agreed a deal for the latter to handle both delivery and collection of mail to other outlets of Yell across the country.
In addition, TNT will be responsible for delivering stationery, coffee and other delicate goods to the directory service, in the three-year deal.
Business development manager at TNT Express Services Bruce McDonnell told Get Reading that some comforts were thrown into the deal for employees.
"We suggested there might be some ancillary supplies we could deliver for Yell and supplies for hot drinks was an obvious addition," he said.
"People know TNT for our expertise in managing internal mail, but our services can include delivering whatever the customer requires," he added.
According to its website, TNT is a European market leader in supplying logistics and international mail support.
