Crossplatform Perform a minor miracle
Crossplatform received a phone call from the Marketing Department at Aston Villa on Friday 14th of January at around 5.30pm. The request was to build a web site highlighting the Villawannabee offering to kids around the country who want to register for trials to the Aston Villa Football Academy.
Only problem, the press launch was to be on Tuesday the 18th of January at 1pm - to be broadcast nationally on terrestrial and Sky TV.
So, we had content but no design. The only thing to do was say no - hang on though, that is never an option at Crossplatform - Inevitably we said yes.
Andrew Palmer the Managing Director of Crossplatform drove to Aston Villa - took some photo's, filmed some video - watched the Villa beat Norwich 3-0 - went through the concept design with the Marketing department - drove home edited the video, built the site ( with a little help from his friends and colleagues) and voila! There you have it, all in less than 4 working days - the site is now live and you can view it by clicking the link http://www.villawannabee.com. The moral of the story - call us when you need a web site designed and built urgently or not so urgently - we do great work - as you can see.
