International Women’s Day
Thursday 8th March 2007 Write it, Right? Are you making the most of your web site? It is a perfect way to tell potential customers about your business and a downloadable article or report is a fair exchange for an email address. Many small business owners could write more on their website. Plus there are lots of other opportunities such as newsletters, sales letters, blogs, and press releases which can help to develop a satisfying business. Write it, Right? Is a practical and inspirational one day workshop which will help you take action and actually put pen to paper or fingers on to the keyboard. You will develop • Confidence in knowing what it is you want to say • Clarity about how and when to say it • Knowledge about the different ways you can write about your business • Energy and inspiration to build on the day and write more In the morning we look at the process of writing, the importance of the audience and the most appropriate way to write. In the afternoon you make the most of the quiet supportive atmosphere to write something that is important for you The course is run by marketing expert Jean Wolfe who is also a qualified teacher of English. Held on International Women’s Day it celebrates all the women who had to battle to get their voice heard. It is based on the idea that the pen is still mightier than the sword, and certainly mightier and more pleasurable than cold-calling. Jean has a supportive and inspirational approach, based on years marketing an SME business internationally. She is the author of many articles, and an Ebook “Spark into Marketing- Stop and Think”, she has been interviewed on radio and TV. Date: Thursday 8th March Place: Norden Farm Centre for the Arts, Maidenhead, Berkshire. Registration: 9:30 Time: Morning 10 – 12:30. Afternoon 1-15 – 3:30.
