‘Tactics for Growth’ Workshop Hailed a Success
The second in a series of workshops under the banner ‘Grow Your Business – Grow Your Income’ was hailed a success by attendees last Thursday 6th October. Run in partnership with Creative Academy, Slough Enterprise Hub, TVU, SEEDA, and Hub & Spoke, these free workshops are aimed at businesses in the creative sector who wish to significantly increase their income.
Following on from the success of last month’s workshop (‘Clarity, Focus, and Direction’) the ‘Tactics for growth’ workshop again attracted a strong turnout of creative artists from Berkshire keen to sharpen their business skills.
Typically, the attendees work within the areas of film, new media, design/visual arts, or performing arts. Bobbi Johal of Enterprise Link told Business in Berkshire there had been an enthusiastic response from the group, along with much interaction as the workshop progressed. As with the previous workshop, 2 expert mentors were in attendance to answer questions.
Around 15 people participated in the workshop, many of which attended the first one back in September. The next workshop will take place early in November at the same venue: Room PH21- Slough Enterprise Hub, Thames Valley University, Wellington Street, Slough. SL1 1YG.
