MDMA Ltd specialise in producing corporate video for the web and DVD. The company are also developing an ‘on-demand’ presentation format which will open up opportunities for rapid knowledge transfer within organisations.
After 15 years experience in conference and events management, Matt Davis turned to video production on a freelance basis, launching MDMA Ltd 18 months ago. Matt believes in the ability of video to convey a message in a concise way that words alone simply cannot match. Initially he specialised in the corporate events market, frequently attending and filming such events for blue-chip clients. “One of the advantages of video is that companies are able to extend the reach of their event to those who did not attend – it encourages people to sign up for the next one and gives the organisation a real return on their video investment” explains Matt. Matt was one of the five winners from the recent ‘Grow Your Business – Grow Your Income’ series of events, managing to increase his company turnover by more than £15,000 during the 10-month course. “The course opened up many opportunities” he explains, “and made me think beyond being a freelancer and instead adopt a more company-oriented approach”. MDMA Ltd are currently developing a presentation system which combines elements of narrated slide show with video – a powerful and effective combination that can turn a 45 minute lecture into a concise 5 minute message.
