WHY CISTRAK?
The device works the same as any other GPS tracking device utilizing mobile phone technology for reporting information back to you. THAT is the main difference between CISTRAK and all of the other tracking systems on the market. Other systems report back to a control centre and you are dependant on that control centre to give you information.

With CISTRAK you have complete control over your vehicle. You can simply dial up the device from your mobile phone and within seconds receive an SMS telling you where your vehicle is, or log on to your own user friendly web page and see where it is on street level mapping anywhere in the world! That in itself is another major difference because all other trackers operate within either UK only or UK and certain parts of Europe. The advantages are tremendous. The locate speed is seconds, not hours. You don’t need a crime reference number to report the vehicle missing then have someone else track the vehicle for you. You can inform the police in whatever country you are in where the vehicle is, in real time ! Even if it is going across water you can obtain a position.
Another user feature is a geo fence, that you can set anywhere world wide. Imagine your motorhome or caravan is in storage or even just sitting outside your home. If it is moved outside your selected geo fenced area you will receive an SMS, email or both telling you it has moved and where it is currently located. We believe this is a significant feature because alarms can be tampered with etc and they are the first thing a thief looks for. A geo fence is silent and invisible. An audible alarm will also cause a thief to damage a vehicle to disable an alarm.
A feature of the incredibly detailed mapping is that it can be used free of charge to plan routes, take accurate measurements between features, say for example petrol stations, rest stops, toll barriers – the list is endless. The mapping is also able to be viewed in 3D just like Google Earth so you can see positions relative to coastlines etc. All map features such as restaurants have contact telephone numbers and addresses so if you wanted to book a hotel room or a restaurant in advance, the contact details are there for you! All at no extra charge.
The devices are available through authorized resellers who will fit the device for you. There are no external aerials to consider and the fitting is simplicity itself with no set up procedures, we perform all set up procedures ourselves. The device has a low battery warning in case the power supply is interrupted and has it’s own integral battery. The device uses only a very small amount of power so there is very little battery drain.
