Bracknell is likely to see a sparkling affair at this year's Christmas lights switch on.
A dazzling fireworks display will mark the occasion, but that will not be the only attraction this year, Bracknell news reports. Celebrity Toyah Wilcox, who became famous for her pop music in the 80s, will be at Charles Square on Thursday November 22nd to kick start the festive season with what's set to be a stunning performance. Speaking to the publication, Wilcox spoke of her delight at getting the gig. "I am delighted to be turning on the lights in Bracknell. The atmosphere is always exciting in a town centre in the lead up to Christmas," she said. Wilcox added: "It's going to be such a fun evening and I can't wait to entertain the crowds." In what is expected to be an unmissable occasion, entertainment will be provided from 3pm onwards. It was recently announced that local celebrity Rolf Harris will be switching on the festive lights in Maidenhead, while Slough is to welcome pop singer Shayne Ward. www.businessinberkshire.co.uk/christmasinberkshire
