The Story of Chocolates for Chocoholics Ltd
In 1986 Roger & Liz Cossey decided to start a small business importing and selling quality chocolates to retailers in the South East of England. It became clear after the initial years that trying to compete with the supermarkets was not possible and their business would have to change to survive.
The first Chocolate Parties they did were based on traditional Party Plan concepts but they rapidly evolved into their current system of supplying chocolates and gifts to self employed Distributors. These are entrepreneurs who run their own business buying, marketing and selling the Chocolates for Chocoholics range of products. Their considerable experience has taken this popular concept and created a business model that means that new Distributors who take on this challenge are invariably very successful.
By concentrating on the sourcing and development of their own product range they have been able to build up an extensive range of products.
Their Winter 2007 season will also be a landmark occasion, as for the first time consumers who live in areas where there is no Distributor will be able to buy online at www.chocolate-parties.com.
