Wokingham to House New Johnson & Johnson HQ

Wokingham is set to become the UK headquarters of Johnson & Johnson Medical, according to AIM-listed property developer Terrace Hill Group.
The group revealed that it has received detailed planning consent for a new office block, which is destined to become the main UK base for the multi-national firm, which manufactures pharmaceutical, diagnostic, therapeutic, surgical and biotechnology products. Terrace Hill, which is also the preferred developer for a new 80-acre business park near Weston-super-Mare, said that it had been an excellent start to the year and revealed that construction is expected to start on the 200,000 square foot building in the spring. Wokingham's blend of countryside and town and its proximity to London has made it a sought-after business and residential location. It is a prosperous area and has enjoyed significant new business growth, with recent developments at Winnersh Triangle, Suttons Industrial Park and the Thameside Business and Country Park boosting the thriving local economy.
