WAY out for Windsor Arts Centre
Windsor Arts Centre looks to be on its way to opening its doors again thanks to WAY (Windsor Arts are Yours) following the recent announcement from the insolvency company (Nortons Recovery Limited) which took over in December.
WAY where able to buy up all of the centre’s equipment thanks to the donation of an anonymous supporter, and are amongst several other organisations making a bid for the council owned Fire Station in St Leonard’s Road, Windsor.
The organisation have already started meeting with council officials in an attempt to preserve many of the Art Centre’s assets and keep them within the building.
WAY will reveal what progress has been made during a public meeting on Wednesday 30th of January at 7:30 pm at Windsor Boys School, as well as discuss what benefits a new Art Centre can provide for the community
David Tann of Nortons Recovery Limited stated “There seems to be a real desire amongst a number of people in and around Windsor and the Royal Borough to see it continue to operate as an arts centre.”
