New movie filmed at Windsor Castle
Windsor Castle was used in the filming of a new film to be released in November, it has emerged.
The Jane Austen Book Club is due to arrive in cinema November 16th and features screen siren Emily Blunt, who filmed some scenes in the dramatic surroundings of this regal home, the Scotsman reports.
Ms Blunt - who is also starring in a new Martin Scorsese masterpiece - visited the stately building on a private tour and enjoyed the chance to view the love letters between Queen Victoria and husband Prince Albert.
"They were so romantic," she remarked to the news source.
However, she admitted that she found it difficult to read the Queen's handwriting in some of the correspondence.
Ms Blunt, aged 24, is also known for her romantic interest in the form of world-renowned Canadian singer/songwriter Michael Buble.
The Jane Austen Book Club has been given 7.2 stars out of ten by the International Movie Database.
