Berkshire Call Centre Praised at European Awards
A Datchet business has been praised at a European award ceremony which recognises excellence in call centres.
ComXo, a communications services and technologies business, was highly commended in the category for the best contact centre with under 50 seats and came second in the group at the 2006 European Call Centre Awards.
The company provides a range of telecom services and technologies and now serves more than 40,000 consumer clients around the world and over 200 blue chip clients within the UK.
Andrew Try, the company's managing director, told the Slough and Langley Observer that he was delighted to have received the awards.
The feat was all the more impressive considering the other eight finalists were all bigger companies or national brands.
"We consider this a real achievement for our first entry to the awards and recognition from the very best in the industry," Mr Try added.
The awards ceremony, which was organised by Call Centre Focus magazine and is now in its 11th year, was held at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole hotel.
