James Blunt Tickets

Singer Auctions off tickets

James Blunt fans have one last chance to get hold of tickets for his sold out tour on its last night set to take place in Reading on 23rd January.

Anyone who has not yet snagged tickets to hear the soldier-turned-singer perform at Rivermead has an opportunity to win two golden tickets at a charity auction taking place online at www.viagogo.co.uk/James-Blunt-Tickets in aid of Medecins Sans Frontieres. Bidding for the tickets has already begun and they have already reached £130.

The two tickets will also allow the lucky winner to be photographed with James Blunt and receive signed merchandise (t-shirts and CDs).

The auction will finish at 6pm on Monday, 21st January.

James has maintained his ties with the MSF and while on his recent World Tour continued to support it with many charity auctions to raise money for the organisation.

Witnessing first hand how MSF worked in 1999 while serving in Kosovo under the British military and being among personnel from the NATO peace keeping force, he has openly aired his admiration for MSF employees for their unwavering commitment.

"Without armour or weapons & w/o the enormous logistics that we had, the people of MSF offered direct medical care to the victims of the tragedy in Kosovo. It was very inspiring to see them at work."

"In the 6 months that I was in Kosovo I was very involved with all kinds of aid organisations. Most of them I saw in the cities. In the country, where aid was desperately needed, I only encountered MSF the whole time."
