For those who enjoy playing golf on a great course, eating good food, and having fun whilst contributing to an internationally recognised, community based good cause, we’ve got just the answer: The Fourth Scouts Corporate Golf Gala on 1st June 2007 at Wokefield Park near Reading.

The event is organised by a group of local businesses in South Berkshire who work with local organisations and businesses to promote the development of links between scouting and the business community. This is the 4th event of its kind and by chance, it coincides with the Scouting movement’s centenary year.

There are a number of exciting sponsorship opportunities available for Berkshire businesses. As well as entering a team, there are many other ways to promote your organisation through a variety of sponsorship packages (like sponsoring a hole) or participation in the charity auction.

In addition to the main 4 ball 18 hole stableford competition, golfers can also compete in a range of contests such as putting, nearest to the pin and the longest drive. You could even win a brand new car with a hole in one!

The day will include:

• Breakfast
• 18 hole stableford competition
• Two course lunch
• Prizes
• Raffle and auction
• WIN A CAR for a hole in one

The £250 team entry is for 4 players and includes breakfast and a 2 course gala day lunch. A team photograph will be available at the end of the day.

Schedule:

• 8.00am Registration, tee / time allocations and breakfast
• 8.30am Onwards, a two tee start (1 and 10)
• 3.00pm Golf Gala Lunch
• 4.15pm Auction and prize presentations
• 5.00pm End
