Reading Office Space in Demand

Demand for office space in Reading is the highest it’s been for 5-years according to recent research by property specialists Hicks Baker.

The report shows that 300,315 square feet of Reading office space was filled in 2006. Around 75% of this is accounted for by sub-10000 sq ft lettings indicating a general trend towards smaller business premises.

Indeed enquiries for larger spaces are rare according to Hicks Baker’s Head of Business Space, Michael Baker, although he has noted some interest from larger Thames Valley firms during the past 6 months. "I've read so much negative press about the market in the last few years it's good to see positive signs." he said.
