GLOBAL recruitment consultancy Beresford Blake Thomas (BBT) has launched a new specialist office at 60 St Mary's Butts, Reading.
Reading was chosen as location because of its status as a regional hotspot for both company locations and employment. The fact the Thames Valley has the lowest unemployment of any region in the country. The new office specialises in recruiting technical and construction personnel, covering such roles as computer aided design (CAD) designers, engineers, quantity surveyors, architects, project managers, transportation staff, site managers and general building workers.
Richard Whitton, manager of the new BBT office, said: “We're really excited to be opening our new office in Reading. It's a great town and the main gateway to servicing further a field such as Oxfordshire, Hampshire and of course Berkshire.
“We're really expanding at the moment, driven by the local demand, so much so that we'll probably have to recruit more staff ourselves over the next few months."
