Dinner with Steve Coppell
ROYALS fans can fire questions at Championship-winning boss Steve Coppell when the Ex-England winger tops the bill at a Chronicle-supported sportsman's dinner in July.
Just weeks before the Premiership comes to town Coppell, who made 373 appearances for Manchester United, will answer questions from the audience at a special fundraising event organised by Reading's Ex Players Association.
Organiser Richard Wickson said: "I am very grateful to Steve. This is the perfect timing. Everyone wants to hear what he has to say with the Premiership season just around the corner and I understand he is a very open and honest speaker."
Meridian TV's Chris Maughan will host the event which is at the Renaissance Hotel on July 13 from 7pm until 12am. There will be a three course dinner and comedy from sporting comic Aaron James.
The will be also an auction of signed memorabilia donated by ex-Royal Andy Findlay's Sports Icons business which is sponsoring the event.
The Reading Chronicle has linked up as media promoter. (Ed: And BinB is helping both of them out!)
Tickets are £40 each, or £360 per a table of ten and are available by sending a cheque payable to RFC Ex-Players Assn, and stamped addressed envelope to Richard Wickson at 2 Russet Close, Sonning Common, Reading RG4 9LQ.
