Making the most of social media marketing |
We have recently revamped our main site to carry links to our BinB LinkedIn group, a new BinB Facebook group and our BinB Twitter feed.
This means that BinB Members and potential members can join the groups that work for them and connect via that media. Many don’t use Facebook for business, on the other hand some do and very successfully. Most business men and women are starting to use LinkedIn to connect to each other as it provides and international common platform. Twitter is a tool that only a few are using effectively, mostly it’s just noise at this time, it may someday turn into another LinkedIn but it is probably more likely to be superseded by the next big thing! We have set up Twitter to pick up on the any news that mentions Business in Berkshire. This means external news media that publish stories that mention business & Berkshire will be fed to our Twitter account to make it more interesting for those interested in local business news. It is uncertain how effective each of these channels will be at this time. I feel very confident that the BinB LinkedIn Group will prove effective over the next 12 months.
