For those of us who are trying to manage a business, earn the bread and butter money whilst trying to grow demand for our product or service, using Jon Davey’s sales lead generation micro site is a great tool in the toolkit.
Corridan Financials is an Accounting Practice and that is the bread and butter money, however Margaret Corridan (that's me) is also a trainer with a passion for training and a vision of building a sustainable training business. Jon Davey explained to me how I could use the sales lead generation microsite to get to my audience without having to spend a lot of time and money on sales and marketing. Every six months I run revision courses for the Association of Accounting Technician (AAT) exams. The cost of advertising in all of the relevant accountancy magazines to reach my audience would mean that I could not compete on price. Jon helped me choose the right domain name for my microsite, we settled on www.aatcourses.co.uk as this was one of the popuar search phrases used by my target audience. Jon put the site together, the content provided by myself and my team and off we went. I had the ability to go into the site and make changes and keep the content updated, which of course I meant to do regularly but in reality never really found the time. This did not stop the site from working, email enquiries arrived, booking forms arrived and students passed their exams after attending our revision courses. When searching for AAT courses the microsite often appears on the fist page of google. The last student who booked and attended a revision course travelled from Oxford to Bracknell based on what she saw on the site. The site generates loads of hits per day, take a look. People I would not have reached if I had not used Jon’s expert advice and sales lead generation microsite. We are just putting together a second site focusing on IT training.... lets see where that goes.... watch this space for the results.
