Business Directory launched in Slough
A brand new publication has been launched by the Slough Borough Council to aid businesses with information on companies in the borough.
Hailed as an excellent source of information, the Slough Business Directory 2008/09 offers vital information submitted by the council and key partner agencies, transport links, community statistics, local support for businesses and an A to Z of companies.
Seen as one of the top three most productive towns in the UK (situated outside of London), Slough has become the home ground for many international brands consisting of large and small companies alike.
Slough has been at the forefront of providing jobs since the 1920’s and has the ability to compete in competitive global markets, supporting all local businesses and it is hoped many companies will make use of it.
A member of Sloughs economic development commented that with so many businesses in the area, it is essential that an up-to-date publication is provided and that they are committed to supporting all local businesses and this is an important way of doing it.
