Business in Berkshire has been pushing out business news since 20th February 2002 when we launched an email newsletter to promote the activities of local business.

This grew into a twice weekly production and by 2004 we had over 2000 local business men and women tuned in and were sending Jon Davey, the creator of BinB, a ton of information we were converting from word docs and pics into html pages!

In the summer of 2004 we launched our content management system (CMS) and this speeded up the process of email newsletter creation from 3 days to a few hours... an unexpected side effect was the SEO power that became apparent!

This shone out in the spring of 2005 when Charles married Camilla. We received calls from around the world looking for more information on the Royal couple. We had published a page about our own wedding day at the Guildhall and this was found by those searching for more information... the media. The result was an invitation to be inside the castle grounds on the day of the wedding. Two days later a search for pictures of Charles and Camilla’s wedding resulted in us 3rd on Google with Hello 4th!!!!

Over the last few years we have offered BinB web space from prices ranging from £0 to £540 per year. Many have come forward but most didn’t make the most of their web space, expecting miracle results but unwilling to put the energy in to make the space work... for those that have amazing results have been achieved.
