Valentine’s Day Promotion – NEWBURY MARKET
SATURDAY 14TH FEBRUARY 2009 Beat the Credit Crunch! On Saturday 14th February there will be a Valentine’s Day promotion taking place in Newbury Market Place for the Newbury Market. We will be selling £3 vouchers, which you can redeem for £5 worth of goods from any market stall. We are literally giving away free money to help people with their weekly shop at the market, and to encourage new shoppers to the market to discover the stalls and variety of goods available. The vouchers are being sold on a first come, first served basis, so, hurry. There will also be re-useable cotton tote shopping bags for sale and a raffle on the day to win a wonderful hamper of goodies fresh from the market. Councillor Martha Vickers, Chair of the Market Working Party, said, “If you’re a regular market shopper this is a “Thank you” from the traders. If market shopping is a new experience for you this is an introductory offer. Love your Market? Use your Market!” Come along and enjoy the day. There will also be live musical entertainment with “Fifi La Mer Duo” from 11am – 3pm. A sophisticated and charming acoustic duo, their repertoire includes classic and contemporary jazz, selected pop tunes and French chansons to get you in the mood for Valentine’s Day. |
