20 new jobs created by Screwfix in Newbury
Screwfix has chosen Newbury for its immediate select and collect service. UK’s main mail order and online supplier of screws, tools, fixings and accessories Screwfix has created 20 new jobs with the opening of its Newbury store. Screwfix held an official opening ceremony which took place at Bone Lane, Newbury with the Trade Counter Manager cutting the ribbon along with Nicola McAvoy, a customer who is currently in the process of renovating a house. In the spirit of the occasion she received a Worx Lightlum Drive 36V Drill and a bottle of Champagne. The opening of the new Trade Counter has created 20 jobs and Screwfix were delighted with the way in which its team pulled together in order to make the opening ceremony a success. Bone Lane is ideally situated for customers and convenient for the Newbury stores employee’s and Screwfix has high hopes that its new branch will bring a new level of service to customers. The Trade Counter provides another channel for customers and enables them to quickly and easily acquire a large variety of products at trade prices. Customers select their items from the Screwfix catalogue, place their order and then collect the purchases. The Trade Counter is currently running a prize draw to win £100 worth of Screwfix vouchers.
