Support Your Local Radio Station
Just had an email in from my pal Paul, who amongst other local Marlow folk, helped Tim Ashburner get Marlow FM on the air over the summer...
"I was hoping you might be able to help our bid for a 5 year licence?
One of the criteria that Ofcom focus on is proof of local support/demand for a community radio station. They won't accept petitions or any kind of templated letters etc; only bona fide individual emails or letters (emails preferably as the application is made via email). I was wondering whether you'd consider giving us a plug and asking your members if they'd mind lending their support to the campaign?"
